As the two-term President of Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers, I have worked with Law Enforcement professionals for over 8 years to help put hundreds of dangerous criminals behind bars. The Crime Stoppers program relies on the community it serves for information and financial support.

 

My experience with Crime Stoppers has made me a firm believer in the power of community policing and has shown me the extraordinary things that we can accomplish by working together.

 

I took those lessons and began working with my neighbors to start the Erikson Neighborhood Association. We began with an ice-cream social for National Night Out and then organized around a Neighborhood Watch. We are now a fully-functioning association with by-laws and elected officers. It is my distinct honor to serve as the first President of the Erikson Neighborhood Association. Together we are making our neighborhood safer and building a community where neighbors look out for each other.

I want to help other District 9 neighborhoods identify leaders and organize themselves in order to partner with City Hall and improve our community. There are many challenges before us and only together will we be able to meet them.
